Ma was always thanking god and always being all way religous. So we put a rosary around her hand that represented that.. and a quote that goes with it is, "Ooh thank god!" "Thank god!" (101)

So on our cut out we used a picture of a family and put it on as her heart because she's always looking out for her family and making sure they all have what they need.
Ma embraced Ruthie's shoulders in a quick convulsive hug and then released her. With this quote we see that Ma really cares and loves and supports her family. To represent this we put a sports bra on the cut out to help show that Ma was a supporter of the whole family.
